At present, I'm not planning such a long journey.
I'm a French student near Paris, but my parents live between Le Chemin and Corbigny, about twenty kms under Vézelay. It is called Chateau de Villemolin (it is indicated on a road pannel on one of your photos).
We often offer a place to sleep in and anything needed to pilgrims on their way to Santiago. It is my parents' kind of pilgrimage. Also, if you hear about somebody planning the same journey, please let him know that he is welcome, especially during summer, or at Easter and Christmas.

My name is Michel Vandenberghen. I have a hotel in Namur, on the bank of the Meuse river. We are on the path of the ancient pilgrims of Compostelle and we receive here the real pilgrims (the walking ones) for free (one night and breakfast) on their way on or back.

I'm brother Ivan, one of the brothers of the Fraternité Monastique de Jérusalem in Vézelay, not the one you met...
It was rather funny for me to read about us on the net, I'm a new user, trying to see how it could be useful for us...
Next time you are in Vézelay, call directly to us, we have a guest house to accomodate pilgrims... and I'm responsible for that..

I hope your way is going on well... I met a lot of "hirondelles" since you left Vézelay, most of them were from Belgium or Netherlands...

Pray for us in Compostela... or anywhere you are now...
